What was this show on PBS called?

I don't know if they still do this, but PBS or WTTW 11 (not sure if
its the same thing) had like shows or something and then sold the DVD
right after or in between breaks and they showed people answering
phones like backstage..what are those things called?

I was one of the phone answerers a couple years ago and the show was
about an elderly couple that travelled or something..I never actually
watched the show but the old couple was there on set and they seemed
pretty popular lol..does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
