Werkheiser lands lead in 'Brake'
Devon Werkheiser, who starred in Nickelodeon's hit series "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," has showed up charge in the new, low-budget Lionsgate pic titled "I Brake For Gringos."Fernando Lebrija will direct in the script he co-written with Miguel Tejada-Flores. Lebrija may even produce with Willie Kutner and Leonardo Zimbron, while Harris Tulchin will professional produce.Werkheiser may have Logan Hoagland, a not-too-popular secondary school senior who becomes a victim that belongs to them raging your body's the body's hormones because he heads away and off to Cabo San Lucas for just about any wild and memorable springbreak adventure. Production is skedded to start April 23 in Cabo San Lucas. Werkheiser began acting at 10, because he was cast as Mel Gibson's boy in Randall Wallace's "I Had Been Soldiers." He ongoing to star in Nickelodeon's telepic "Shredderman Rules," which featured a geniune song with the youthful thesp. Werkheiser recently co-starred in "Beneath the Darkness" alongside Dennis Quaid and Aimee Teegarden, which he just wrapped some indie photos -- "The Wicked" and "Leashed."
